ABOUT BEHIND THE MOUSE
Jaidy has revealed artistic tendencies since the days she could be found at the Waldorf pre-school in Greeley, CO dancing in long flowing skirts, dropping watercolors onto thick cardstock, and frolicking through fields of wild flowers. She continued to pursue art in many different mediums throughout her time in high school and college, primarily focusing on theatre.
Jaidy's interest in graphic arts flourished while directing theatre in private, international schools abroad. Jaidy would spend a good amount of time with her students designing top-notch tickets, programs, and show posters for theatrical productions that would wow audiences.
Because Jaidy's time in international schools allowed her the freedom to live or travel to such places as India, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Africa, Ireland, and Belgium, Jaidy became instantly fascinated with the beauty of differences. With camera in hand, she'd collect images of color, line, people, and landscape, capturing the essence of our assymetrical world.
Since her return to the States in 2003 she has embraced her life as a mother, wife, and artist. Art has an effect on your soul; whether you're creating it or collaborating on it, or simply looking at it, we exchange impact with it. You may believe in this concept too. In which case, working with Jaidy will be an altogether refreshing experience.
